In the afternoon of January 24, the establishment of Zhejiang Fire Protection Association and the first general meeting were held in Hangzhou. Representatives of more than 300 member units from the provincial fire protection industry attended the meeting in the main venue and 11 branch venues.
The newly established Zhejiang Fire Protection Association follows the values of "advocating profession, regarding quality as life and integrity as soul", and is committed to becoming a first-class provincial association in China with the mission of "helping Zhejiang fire protection industry develop in a high-quality and sustainable manner, promoting symbiosis and harmony of the industry, and making practitioners widely recognized and respected by the society". At present, the Association has nine working committees (branches), including the Fire Industry Development Research Committee, the Fire Science Popularization Education and Training Committee, the Social and Civilian Fire Forces Working Committee, the Youth Entrepreneurship Committee, the Building Fire Protection Branch, the Fire Products and Equipment Branch, the Digital Fire Protection Branch, the Fire Technology Service Branch, and the Fire Engineering Installation Branch. The Association has established offices in 11 cities and Yiwu City.
